Montréal is a beautiful city renowned for its international flavour and inspiring diversity. Located on an island in the St. Lawrence River, it is home to approximately 1.6 million residents and the largest bilingual workforce in Canada. It is the largest French-speaking city outside France and a perfect blend of European energy and North American efficiency. One of the world’s top convention cities and a certified destination for sustainable events, there’s something for everyone here. You’ll find a friendly population, world-famous gastronomy, and an atmosphere of celebration!

The WFH, in collaboration with the Palais des congrès de Montréal, is facilitating measures that seek to ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions in line with current applicable government and public health regulations where in-person interactions take place during Congress. The Onsite Safety Protocol document  has been developed to assist in ensuring the safety of all attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and staff who will be attending the in-person portion of the Congress. The WFH will continue to monitor federal, state and local government and public health recommendations and will update these protocols and measures as appropriate.

The Palais des congrès de Montréal is proud to announce that it has obtained the GBAC Star certification. It thus becomes the first convention centre in Quebec to receive this internationally recognized certification.

The GBAC Star, conferred by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, is “the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for facilities”  relative to the outbreak of infectious disease. This certification is a testimony to the Palais des congrès’ relentless commitment to maintaining a safe environment for clients, partners and visitors. Click here to read the official press release.
