WFH 2022 World Congress attendance options
The WFH 2022 World Congress will take place in-person at the Palais de congrès in Montréal, and virtually via the WFH 2022 Virtual Congress website. We ask that you read the options below carefully and the select your preferred method of attendance. Registration fees are only valid if both the registration form and full payment are received on or before the specified deadlines. Otherwise, the payment will be treated as a partial payment for the next applicable registration category.
All virtual attendees can change their registration to “in-person” at any time. This change is subject to the difference in price between the virtual and in-person registration fee.

Passport to the world reduced fees
If you are a citizen of a country with a low-income, lower-middle income or upper-middle income economy (as defined by the World Bank), you may be eligible for a special “Passport to the World fee” (conditions apply). See the list of eligible countries here.
This discount does not apply to accompanying persons, and cannot be combined with any other discount.
Student
Requirements for registering as a student
This category applies to any person currently involved full-time in a training program for medical education or other disciplines, or in a PhD program. A copy of a student ID, valid at the time of the Congress, will be required. Alternatively, an official document signed by a university department head can be provided. Please submit your proof to the WFH 2022 World Congress Secretariat by email to [email protected]. An original ID must be shown on site.

Accompanying person
The Accompanying Person’s registration fee is available only to partners or family members of a paid attendee registered to attend Congress. Only one accompanying person is allowed per registered attendee.
The registration fee includes:
- Access to the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, May 8, 2022
- Accompanying person’s tour including lunch
Please note that Accompanying Persons’ registration does not allow access to any of the sessions or to the exhibition hall.
Payment must be made in US$ currency only. The following payment methods are accepted:
PLEASE NOTE: Bank charges are the responsibility of the sender and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees. On the transfer documentation, clearly indicate the participant’s family name and include the note “WFH 2022 Registration”. Send a copy by email to [email protected] in order to help identify the payment. The WFH 2022 World Congress Secretariat will not be responsible for tracking transfers deposited without appropriate identification.
- Credit card: MasterCard and Visa only. The WFH does not accept American Express cards.
- Electronic funds transfer. Please contact [email protected] to obtain a proforma invoice for payment, specifying the services requested and full contact details. Click here to print WFH bank account information.

Any cancellation of registration must be sent in writing and will be subject to the following conditions:
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued no later than one month after the Congress.
- Until Friday, April 8, 2022, a refund equivalent to 75% of the paid registration fee will be granted
- After Friday, April 8, 2022, no refunds will be granted
- No name or registration category changes are permitted
- Requests for refunds with regards to incorrect registration payments or incorrect category selection will not be considered
- Non-attendance will be considered as a cancellation on the day of the event and will incur a 100% cancellation fee
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued no later than one month after the Congress.
Companies and organizations intending to register a group of 15 people or more are required to follow the special group registration procedure. Please contact [email protected] to receive the group registration template or register your group directly via our online registration system.
Note that:
Please make sure that the WFH receives the participants’ correct e-mail address so that they can be sent session evaluations and the final congress evaluation. These documents will only be emailed during the Congress period.
Note: Although every effort will be made to inform you in the event of a double registration, the organizing secretariat cannot be held responsible in the event of a double registration (when either an individual or another group registers the same participant).
All registration information will be sent to the group contact person only, who will then be responsible for the distribution of information to each group member. No documentation will be sent directly to the group participants.

- The same fees and deadlines apply for groups as for individual participants
- The listed registration fees are only valid if both the registration form and full payment are received on or before the specified deadlines. Otherwise, the payment will be treated as a partial payment for the next applicable registration category.
- The group coordinator must submit full contact details for each registered participant: family name, first name, complete address, e-mail, affiliation, and country of origin of each participant.
Please make sure that the WFH receives the participants’ correct e-mail address so that they can be sent session evaluations and the final congress evaluation. These documents will only be emailed during the Congress period.
