Travelling to Canada and COVID-19 Entry Requirements

Each delegate is responsible for making sure they have the appropriate travel documents and that they can comply with all entry requirements before planning their trip to Canada. Local Health and Safety Protocols

The information below regarding local health and safety protocols in the province of Quebec will help you to prepare your trip to Montreal so that you can safely enjoy the WFH 2022 World Congress and your stay in Montreal. This information is useful for both international and domestic travellers. We recommend you check the links below periodically as the COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving.

Starting on March 14, 2022, presenting a vaccine passport will no longer be required at many venues, including the following:

  • Restaurants, bars, casinos, and taverns
  • Cinemas, events, performances, and sporting events
  • Assemblies, conventions, meetings, and certain ceremonies
  • Specific sites such as arcades, thematic sites, amusement centres and amusement parks, recreation centres, and water parks
  • Sports and leisure activities
  • Spas and saunas
  • Private gatherings in a rented hall

Starting from March 14, 2022, there will be no capacity limit for many venues, including the following:

  • Stores and shopping centres
  • Places of worship
  • Essential public activities
  • Private gatherings
  • Restaurants, bars, casinos, and taverns
  • Cinemas, events, performances, and sporting events
  • Conventions
  • Specific sites
  • Sports and leisure activities
  • Spas and saunas

The onsite safety protocol for access and attendee management for Congress 2022 is currently being developed, and will be published closer to Congress. It will incorporate the latest safety measures and government guidelines on event safety, including access to the Montreal convention centre, seating,  onsite/ off-site test options, etc. Consult the latest updates here.
